Sustainable Development Goals: the impact of large representatives in the Brazilian construction industry

Abstract The large corporations cause the most significant damages, but they can contribute to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and its global priorities. purpose of this research was map main impacts related SDG, analysing business sector Brazilian civil construction, including some companies following segments: construction companies, factories cement plants, their sustainability reports according Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) model. Only four out seventeen SDG were found not be directly affected by material aspects industry. Therefore, suggestions made for mitigation caused, mostly governmental actions regulation enforcement, as well entrepreneurial action concerning management Based on Attention-Based View theory, contributions have been suggested applicable companies’ model seeking SDG.
